3. User Accounts

4. Tutoring Participation

For Learners:

• You agree to attend scheduled sessions and communicate clearly with your tutor.
• You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding your learning needs.
• Refunds or credits are issued only under specific conditions outlined in our refund policy.

For Tutors:

• You agree to provide original, respectful, and effective tutoring in line with Language Bridge’s educational values.
• You must honor scheduled sessions, provide timely feedback, and maintain professional communication with learners.
• Tutors are responsible for any claims related to content they create or share.

5. Intellectual Property

• All content, course materials, session recordings, and platform features are owned by Language Bridge and protected under intellectual property law.
• Any custom content submitted by tutors or learners (e.g., session notes, exercises) remains their property, but Language Bridge reserves the right to use such content internally to improve the platform and learning experience.

6. Fees & Payments

• Subscription and session payments are processed securely through authorized payment processors.
• Prices are displayed in your local currency or USD/CAD and may be subject to taxes or platform fees.
• Tutors receive payments after session completion, subject to applicable processing windows.
• Any changes to fees will be communicated in advance.

7. Termination

Language Bridge may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or platform policies
• You engage in abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behavior
• You misuse content, impersonate others, or disrupt the learning environment

You may close your account at any time. However, obligations related to intellectual property and payment disputes will survive termination.

8. Platform Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted access to Language Bridge but do not guarantee 24/7 availability. The platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues.

9. Disclaimers

Language Bridge is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Errors in course content or tutor availability
• Missed sessions or technical disruptions beyond our control
• Outcomes from the use of language learning in clinical or professional settings

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Language Bridge and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada (or your local jurisdiction if otherwise required by law). Disputes may be resolved through arbitration or legal proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction.
